I’m totally blown away by your fantastic work and attention to detail!! What you have done with my favorite Star Trek ship is truly impressive!!
You feel like you’re truly aboard the best Federation Flagship ever. (IMO) 😉 Totally enjoyed your first virtual tour, can’t wait to see more of this gorgeous ship. Are we going to see the Bridge updated to the bridge Generations? I had wished the original designers done that upgrade earlier on the 1701-D bridge, new red alert klaxon and LCARS years before, better late than never. It would be awesome to have this scaled to a playable interactive RPG simulator? Again I’m really impressed with what you have done! Well done, nice ending shot too!!
I was curious about this myself. From what I remember reading the show runners wanted to do this bridge update during the TV show (or some form of re-dress anyway) but didn’t have the money or time for it. Only when the Generations film came along with money for a set upgrade did it go ahead. It does a lot for the bridge as it always looked very sparse for computer console space to direct & co-ordinate a ship of that size (there may be more computer console space on the Defiant bridge). I realise this was by design originally to convey the advancement in computing but it stands out a bit now from all the other Star trek we’ve seen since.
